Biography

Rear Admiral Casper Frederick Goodrich, was instrumental in the founding of the Naval War College and served as that organization's President 1897-1898. During World War I he was appointed the commander of the Naval Training Unit and the Pay Officers Material School, both established at Princeton University in 1917.
